Re: Which Car Wash Product

No need to overthink it. There is no "best". You will be fine with either of those car wash soaps. The benefit of the pro wash is that it comes in a larger quantity.

Sorry to hear this. Make yourself some do not wash car flyers and put them on the window and in the interior so they know not to wash it.

Good luck with the paint correction.

Re: New Car Regimen Questions

You are right. A little showtime is all you need. Then you can follow up with a coat of wax.

That tin of carnauba won't go to waste. You will find use for it.

Re: New Car Regimen Questions

Sealants (aka synthetic waxes) tend to need somewhere between 12-24 hours for them to cure. It allows the polymers to crosslink with each other to form that durable layer. It's also not recommended...

Re: New Car Regimen Questions

Re: New Car Regimen Questions

I would opt to go with syn wax instead of step 3 as it will last longer. I would go step 1 followed by syn wax. Maintain with a spray wax.

Re: Does (Calif Gold) Instant Detailer contain WAX ?

Sounds like you used too much product. 1 - 2 spritzes per panel is all you really need. Of course this varies based on the size of the panel.

Re: Waterless Wash & Wax used for first time...

Nice review. I have been using rinseless washes for the better part of 2 years now and it's really the way to go. Especially for those areas with water restrictions like here in California. ...
