Re: New Mothers FX Wheel and Tire Cleaner

Tough luck for me because this product isn't available in my country. I'm a big fan of the Mothers line so I've always been looking to completing it.

Re: New Mothers FX Wheel and Tire Cleaner

Wow. I love how it took out the brake dust from the tire as well! It gets really old and tiring having to clean the tires with a shampoo solution and a brush. Especially when there's been a build up...

Re: Audi R8 Dash Care

To add to admin, just make sure to wipe the surface dry. Using distilled purified water would be a good idea too. Lastly, a good definition of damp would be to put water in a spray bottle and lightly...

Re: Carnuba Cleaner Wax

In my experience, some black plastics are less porous than others. I've found that the less porous plastics (something close to flat black) are a lot more prone to staining than the more porous ones....

Re: Clay Bar, Step 1, 2, FX, step 3?

When I first used the clay bar long long ago, I used too much Showtime and didn't bother wiping the panels after I clayed each section. I figured that I would just give it a once over after I...

Re: Clay Bar, Step 1, 2, FX, step 3?

I'd like to note that Bama's additional step of the Pre-wax cleaner before the FX Synwax is a very good move. While the FX Synwax does have a good amount of cleaning power, adding the Pre-wax cleaner...

Re: Back to Black works!

What I particularly like about B2B is that it can resist a lot of weather too. My car has been driven daily on an obscure rainy week in this summer season here in my country and my trim still has a...

Re: check the hood

If you're talking about the painted parts under the hood, I would suggest diluting some car shampoo in a bottle with a 1:10 ratio, spray that on the under of the hood and let it dwell. (Be sure not...

Re: What's your favorite Lake Country pad?

It's been a while since I last posted. I'd have to say that I really love the White Polishing Pad. Just the basic 6" flat white pad on a 4" LC backing plate with Mothers PowerPolish. Really works as...

Re: Whats the best Mothers Wax??

IMHO, Reflections give a better look the way I perceive it but entails more effort to apply while SYNWAX gives a good enough look with less effort needed to apply.

It's not one that's better than...

Re: Will stage 1 and 2 create "dust" when removing?

+1 to admin. The only thing I've really found to dust is some heavy duty rubbing compound used for extreme situations only.

However, if you're using a PC and there's dusting, your pad may caked...

Re: swirl marks

You don't have to wait a day to let S&G cure. You can top if off with Carnauba wax immediately after buffing off S&G.

I just want to share what a good friend of mine, Ena Escanan, did for me as a pseudo gift. It's still a work in progress but I think it's turning out great.
