I think there is no silicone in either of those waxes, I usually use the ones that say body shop safe and ones that say they are silicone free.

Re: Scratched the car with the clay bar....

Those flat spots are usually caused by running the clay bar over a dry part of the panel with not enough instant detailer for the clay to slide on. As for the scratches it can be caused by dust or...

Re: Yellow discoloration on white paint

The only thing that I can think of is that the side might have been refinished before. But I don’t think that’s the case. When you removed the side trim, what did you use to remove the tape residue...

Re: Yellow discoloration on white paint

Can you post a picture of the yellow stain that you are talking about? All I can think of is that the adhesive in the tape might have stained the paint. A picture of it could help more.

Re: sealer and glaze on fresh paint?

You have to wait about 90 days to put any type of wax on fresh paint. As for the sealer and glaze I don’t think you can use that, I might be wrong.

Re: Honda Element Trim

I would try Back to Black with a terry towel, that should get rid of the wax stain and it will protect it with frequent applications.

And, Welcome to the forum

Re: Help - Cleaner Wax

My paste wax is the same way. Try sparying some showtime on the applicator, it should help pick up the wax out of the tin. If that does not work, then it might be a bad wax.

I would use the UWS, it's a 3 step system. It should remove all the water spots and makes dark color cars look good. And dont forget to clay the surface before waxing.
