Default Powerball questions.

I just picked up the Powerball and Power Metal Polish to do my billet aluminum rims. Before I try it out, I was wondering what the best way to apply the polish is--directly to the rim or to the Powerball. Also, what is the best way to clean up the Powerball after using it? Thanks in advance!

I have 2 methods that work for me - either make an "X" with the product across the top of the ball, or stick the flip top from the bottle down inside the top of the ball, in 2 or 3 spots, and squirt the product into the ball.

Centrifugal force will draw it out to the surface.

Regardless which method you use, start the drill slowly to prevent slinging.

To clean it, use a bucket with warm water and dish soap.

Submerge the ball and squeeze it several times. Repeat as needed.

Set on a towel and allow to air dry.

One of these days I'm going to try chucking it back up in the drill and spinning it dry - when my wife isn't around.

Forrest,

Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to use the Powerball on my new billet Centerlines
