I can not find that story anywhere else. If that is true that is very sad. The guy was very strange and not in the best of shape but without him the Godfather would not have been the same. I am glad that Deniro got to do "The Score" with him before he died though.

I`m kind of a search engine god of sorts... You would think that if an Icon like this had died, then more sites would be covering it. I can`t find anything on this anywhere. Could it be that such a man can pass on and nobody notices? What a sad world.....

Well, I read a few days ago that he was $20 million in debt and had hidden his Oscars. The link comes from a site I frequent often and is usually reliable.

Yep, it is all over the news now. I am bummed. I am a huge organized crime buff and I am a huge fan of mafia movies. He did a great job as Don Corleone. He was also Suprmans real father if I remember correctly?

I loved the Godfathers, they were some of my favorite movies. I heard the same thing about him being in debt though...I always wonder how people with so much money can get themselves into such bad situations. Its very sad that he died though...he was a fine actor.
