    Chips on a black car

Ok, I have a 2001 S2000 and it`s seen some highway miles (mostly highway) -I love the car to death but as it stands looking at the front end in sunlight is painful.. I got chips to a bit above the bumper, and the beginning of the fenders..

Is repaint my only choice? I can repaint the front bumper/lip and have them blend in the fender/hood parts that are also chipped (they dont have to paint entire panels right?)

Is there anything else I can do outside of repaint to at least make it less obvious? wetsanding help?
