What is EX-P is it a polish or Sealant? This is my first time hearing of it.

    Ron,

EX-P is the pure sealant version of EX, which contained a small amount of carnauba!

Thanks Boss, My next question is; will you be able to top EX-P with another sealant? Dwayne has said that EX with carnauba will not bond with another sealant because of the carnauba.

    You`re welcome Ron!

As for bonding............. it would probably depend on the "other" sealant. In theory, one would think that a polymer should bond with another polymer. However, that may or may not be so. One would need a chemistry background, and a thorough knowledge of all the various componets of each sealant to "really" confirm that different product wound indeed "bond".

Anyhow, I wouldn`t spend much time thinking about it. If you want to try it, go for it. However, you could always top the EX-P with more EX-P, and at some point top the EX with a fine carnauba like Natty`s wax (if somebody every gets it on the market ) or P21S, or one of several others.

Will there be a bonding issue with PwC since EX-p is a pure sealant? Would you recommend pro polish instead? If I call or email can I place an order for a few things?

Also forgot to ask. What do you think it will do with a silver car? As good or better or not as good as EX?

Dalton - I just posted my review of EX-P in this thread.

EX-P: A first look at the production version

Maybe it will help answer some of your questions.

I`d think you`d just want to try it rather than speculate about something which is largely a opinion based matter anyway. Get some and use it and then you`ll know if you like it. Anothers opinioin is just that, another opinion.

I`m certainly not an expert but I`d think that no sealant would bond too well when putting it over a carnuba. I use Pro Polish and then the sealant and then, maybe...but not usually, a carnuba over the sealant. I like the idea of the new, unadulterated, EX-P being a pure sealant with no carnuba. I just want clear protected finish with no carnuba yellowing or dulling.
