    ozone generators

Am contemplating buying an ozone generator and hopefully be able to eliminate cigarette smoke. Not much info on them when I searched. Do they really work/ Would I be better off with a fogger and chemicals? Seems like you ought to be able to buy a fogger at Lowes or other places that would work and just buy the chemicals from TOL or similar. Would appreciate some expert input.

I do own a ozone..... They are pretty neat pieces of machinery keep in mind this is not a miracle product it will not eliminate odor forever....However it will kill a odor for a few weeks. And each time it is used the odor does eventually disipate... 2-4 treatments at 2 - 4 hr`s at a time will usualy treat most odor keep in mind cigarette odor is a tough one becuase it can be in everything including the ventilation system.. But that`s what is cool with the ozone it helps break up the cause of the odor for the entire vehicle and there there are no chemicals involved so no worries about peoples allergy to perfumes or fragrances either... it leaves a smell almost like chlorine or the smell you get after copying paper it`s clean..

I have used it a couple of times so mu experience is pretty limited. But i hope it gives you some ideas...

At worst case it can make you money for virtually no work!!!:beer

    Hope it helps

I`m sitting on the fence with a generator too. What are people happy to pay for this service?- keeping in mind that if they care so little about their car that they smoke in it, then they`re not going to fork out in spades to have the car freshened. I like making money from little effort - reminds me of a speed camera .

I think we`re all interested to know how to use the units effectively. The units I`ve browsed so far are for `Herb` growers.

Check out RGF environmental for info, or carwash.com and run a search on OZONE.
