Question Basecoat with NO CLEAR

Hello I have a pet peev about modern cars. There is a thing called "Manufacturing Cost Management" at work we call it "Make Customers Mad". Well one of the results is that they don't clear under hood, in engine bay and in trunks. Does anyone know how to make areas look better. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

You can wax those areas, but as you know, the paint has a dull finish to it.

Try using a spray wax instead - it'll offer some improvement.

What type of spray wax were you talking about, Showtime or another. Thanks for your input.

We make several different spray waxes. They offer more protection that an instant detailer does. Our California Gold Spray Wax will be the easiest for you to find.

You can find it at an AutoZone or Pep Boys near you, among other places.

Is there a Spray cleaner I should use first before using this spray wax?

We don't make a spray cleaner. You can try using a damp wash mitt and drying after for an easy way to clean under the hood.
