I will post again to this post later this week with a more descriptive "method of attack" that I use during int/ext detailing sessions. I am flat out exhausted tonight, and not because of detailing... My wife gave birth to a baby girl after 12 hours of labor!!! What a day !!! Sundays detailing session was nothing !!!
    Congrats

Thanks Again for all the kind words...

Natty: Gianna Nicolle ... Natalina was actually a name finalist...

sean conners: I charged $175 for the S80 and $125 for the Porsche. The Porsche was a breeze, however I should have charge more for the S80 due to the amount of sap on the exterior...

jgv: Its hard but it`s SO WORTH IT !!!! Good Luck !!!

I am sorry I have not been able to write back on this post, but this week has been crazy !!! As soon as I get some quiet time to myself I will write up my detailing routine and chemicals I use in this process. I will also take some pics of my "mobile shop".

    Thanks Again!!!

    Time saving when detailing.

The following "tips" I believe save me considerable time when mobile detailing.

Pressure washer and water tank set-up inside of my van.

Wheels and tires cleaned prior to wash. I use a 5 gallon pail with about 2 and 1/2 gallons of water to thouroghly clean the wheels tires and wheel wells prior to washing. Chemicals vary from acid to non-acid cleaners, and I love Simple Green for tires and wheel wells. I also use Simple Green for the engine bay.

    Wash and dry.

3M and Meguiars products for all cutting and polishing. I have found myself using my PC more than my rotary and I have had some exceptional results. I love Klasse AIO for light cars. For black I always use P21 Concours wax. Blitz wax is also part of my arsenal and I love its ease of use and good protection.

Interior: !!!!!!!!!!! STONERS !!!!!!!!!! I use all of their products for auto interiors. Trim Cleaner, Trim Shine, MSLT, and Invisible Glass. Easy on and off. I love their product line... Free shipping !!!
Trim Cleaner is their best product in my opinion. I have cleaned up some of the dingiest interiors and TC tackled them all !!!

I also save a considerable amount of time limiting my trips back and forth to the van. I purchased a very large plastic contaner made by Stanley. It has wheels and a handle and I bought it for about $70 at Lowes. I call it my "gang box". I hold all of my brushes and tools and Int/Ext chemicals. I place it near the vehicle prior to starting and I never have to return to the van again for supplies.

Carpets and Upholstery.... Auto Magic HD diluted 30:1 ... agitate and then extract with my Mytee lite in-line heated extractor... I believe I paid about $800 for her and it has been worth every penny !!!

I have a generator on the van a 5000 watt Coleman that I have used 2X this year. I have a 100 ft. reeled extension cord that I have used at every customers residence this year. I purchased this extension at Home Depot for about $20...

I hope I was not to brief in my summary of "attack" any more specific question either PM me or e-mail me at dlaumbach@hotmail.com. I LOVE !!!! detailing and I will gladly share any information or give you my product reviews if applicable. Thanks for all the kind words and thank you premiumautocare.com for making this forum open for the detailing community!
