Lava Flow and City at Night

The first pic I`ve entitled "Lava Flow" and the second pic I`ve entitled "City at Night".

Ok, a touch dramatic, but a nice touch still.

These are from last night after my weekend marathon of Trade Secret (3 coats - see my other thread - some of you have already). Well, this is with the next day`s rain on it. Really cool though in that when I drove down the highway, the water just rolled into the tiniest of droplets and then completely off the hood. Stayed clean too considering.

Anyway, thought they were kinda neet pics so I thought I`d post `em.

Hey can you help me get this hook and sinker out of my mouth? I forgot you were from Ohio and I was thinking one of the Hawaii members had posted lava picts!! :lol

I like the shots. I was thinking about spritzing my car and playing with the camera myself. You have inspired me to actually do it.

Thanks dalmore I`ve really enjoyed my digital camera. I`ve had it one year now this month in fact. And part of the fun is looking for neet shots of the truck and car. You should do the spritz and take some shots.

There`s a guy at work that is really into photography and is even in a club. He`s talked to me about different shots he and some others have taken and it`s really very interesting. He`s made me think some. I don`t know the first thing about cameras other than they take pictures, but sometimes I get lucky - well, in my opinion, claiming no skill on my part. But it can be a lot of fun.

Cool glow. Like I said before...good instinct.
Rained here today too. Had a crew admiring my "beading action" at lunch. I was thinking I should take the rest of the day off work to rush home to dry it off with a WW MF...but then I relaxed.

Where near Cinci? I work for "the large corporate chemical company in Addyston". Go there often. Grater`s is almost enough reason for me to move there (wife agrees).

Hey Fireman03. Hopefully we`re being good neighbors.

I don`t want to hijack this thread from keeotee, but e-mail me if you want.

HiSurfTension - thanks. Do you mean the Graters in Springdale? That`s the only one I know. It`s on route 4/Springfield Pike off the 275 bypass. I`m actually SW of Cinci by about 30 minutes.

So somewhere off of 71 then? I go to the river about 5-10 miles west of Cinci. Isn`t Springdale north of Cinci on the north side of 275? There are definitely closer Grater`s than that to you. Although you can get Grater`s in a lot of grocery stores around there now. You deserve some Grater`s after the "workout" you gave those vehicles....although I`d probably opt for a beer :beer

So what do you do with your wheel wells when you aren`t so tired? I`m asking because I`m not sure what to do with mine. :dunno

Yea, you`ve placed Springdale correctly - Tri-County mall is right there too.

Ah the wheel wells. Well, I`ve just got a wheel well brush from Dwayne this week in fact, but before this I`ve used an old, good-for-nothing-else terry towel to scrub as best I could when washing and then some S&W after washing and they come out pretty clean since I`ve tried to keep up with them. My next plan of attack is to get them very clean and then try applying some sealant - even to the plastic. If it takes, and I don`t know that it won`t - someone else might weigh in on this - then I figure the next cleaning should go much easier.

Yea, I need to get a brush too. Gentletouch gave me an interesting tip for dressing the wells. He fills a bug/weed sprayer (with the hand pump, hose, & wand) with a "dressing". He says it helps keep the overspray down....and I`m sure it is a little easier to apply than by hand or small hand-held sprayer.

I`m looking forward to your next pics.
