    Leather seats...

OK - I got lazy and didn`t read all the posts from my search on leather seats, so I decided to post.

I`ve got a 2002 Buick Regal with gray leather seats. I`ve read about "vinyl" coated leather and other weird stuff about some leather seats so I`m now totally confused.

What should I do to these leather seats - I expect that they`re like these "vinyl coated" leather seats I`ve read about but not really sure. I want to keep them clean and well oiled, protected- whatever the correct term is , but am clueless on what products to use. This is the first car I`ve owned with leather seats.

    You`re help is appreciated!!

Our 2000 Pontiac GTP has the same seats. Cleaning with Woolite & water 6:1 and conditioning with 4 Star Leather Conditioner monthly seems to keep them looking new.

I use Lexol on all of my leather both indoors and automotive, with good results. Once I apply it with a terry cloth pad I`m sure to buff it with another terry cloth pad to evenly distribute it and eliminate any high gloss. Just did my seats two weeks ago, they look great.

OK - I`m done!!! I just ordered the 4* cleaner and conditioner from premiumautocare.com. Great, great site I must say. I`ll probably order the Lexol stuff too and try it. I`m addicted to this detailing stuff now.

When ordering, I must be discreet and place small orders at a time, else the wife gets cranky.

What you do is your decision, but it is awfully easy to get caught up in the buy and try everything mode.
Maybe you might want to try the 4 Star products before you buy the Lexol. :dunno
FWIW, I used Lexol for years. I now use 4 Star. Does that mean it`s better? Nope, but it does mean I prefer it.
