    Car Canopy

I`ve been in the market for one of these for quite some time now. Ive talked to Superior Shine & Gentletouch on their opinions...and now i`d like to ask the general DC population on their suggestions too, you guys/gals always pull through with quality info & advice.

Im looking for preferably a lightweight, durable & stable car canopy that will provide shade/cover and shelter for cars that i detail. Ideally, i`d love for it to be collapsable, cost efficient (under $250), and easy to transport.

Thoughts, suggestions and ideas are welcome!

    Thanks in advance.

Here`s a link to a canopy from harbor freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...750&pricetype=

I don`t have this canopy so I can`t offer anything regarding quality or portability but cost was an issue and this one seemed reasonable. There are also a few other canopies on that site. Good luck!!

    Another link: http://www.buyshade.com/index.php

These are collapsible and maybe more what you are looking for - depending on how big you want (8x12, 10x10, 10x20) they do get pricey

There are many out there to choose from... ez-up I still think makes the best. Here`s a discount link.

Might also try Wally-mart or one of those big wherehouse stores.

    Canopy

The EZ-UP products are quite good. I have several, and gave one to our friend next door who is always detailing his Z6 in the SUN,

Anyway, good products, easy to set up and take down. Most have a bag that holds the whole thing!

    Just my .02 cents

There have been threads about this in the past. Maybe some survived "the button" thing. I remember Steve from Poorboys saying he`s had quite a bit of experience with these things as he uses them when he goes to car shows to sell his stuff.
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.

I purchased a cheap canopy before when then wind got a hold of it, it folded up like a cheap tent. Luckily, I didnt have any thing under it yet. Just something to consider about the canopy. Hopefully a good one would be more sturdy.
