I use one / Beemerboy uses one / Nick uses one - No one to my knowledge that has used one has ever said that it was not worth the money

I have one and like it a lot. I bought mine refurbished, but have not had a problem.

If you have the $ I think the general concensus is to get the heated version, but I just add hot water to mine.

I use to do carpets by hand, I can tell you that the LGCM is definitely worth the $.

I used it on this detail.

I have had one for about two years and love it. I have the pro-heat model with a turbo brush. If your a weekend detailer or just using on a few cars a week or less its a good cheap extractor.

Only two draw backs are. The soloution and recovery tank are small so you spend time emptying and refilling often. The hose is short, so you end up moving the uint around quite a bit, but for those two reasons, that should not stop you from getting one!

Got mine a Target for about 100 bucks
