I`ve been using the Dewalt849 for 2 1/2 years now.
I would go with the Edge2000 buffing system. It allows you alot more options when buffing. Mirrors for instance. If you buffing around the mirrors its easy to damage them with the backing plate plus the Edge2000 is great for getting under rear spoilers and stuff like that. Plus you never have to worry if the pad is lined up or not. I used the backing plate and velcro pads until I tried the Edge system. Its a worth while investment and I would never go back to the velcro system.
Also where I get my pad the velcro where $9/pad and the Edge 2000 pads were $14/pad and they are double sided. It was also cheaper but I guess that depends where you get them.
Thats just my $.02
Cheers
Phonar, Where do you want me to send the check? hahaahaha
Hey, I know how to pay you back, Do you also want a tour of the Edge factory? You are in PA right?
I`m about 55 miles or 1hr 20min away.
I think we have spoken before through e-mail.
I had to beat on the Auto Magic people alittle to carry the Edge 2000 system in my area which I`m glad they decided to do.
