Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome. No offense taken regarding the term "boy`s club". I`m well aware that the female car geek is somewhat of a rarity.

Steve is correct. I`m a clean car nut and have been detailing my cars (and friends` cars for free) for over 20 years now. Uh oh, I think I might have given away a hint regarding my age.

Anyway, I hope to be able to make some positive contributions to this forum. Attached is a picture of my latest "project car".

My project car is shaping up nicely. We purchased it used from a dealership last month. It was formerly one of their loaner cars and had about 6k on the odometer. Do you find it hard to explain to people why you need to spend 4 days detailing a car that looks brand new to them?

The shine is a result of the following process -
    1. Meguiar`s Gold Class wash
    2. Poorboy`s clay and Clay Magic blue clay (in a mini comparison the results were similar, but the Poorboy`s clay was easier to use)
    3. Meguiar`s Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner applied by PC with a yellow cutting pad (hood only)
    4. Klasse All In One applied by PC using a white polishing pad
    5. 2 layers of Poorboy`s EX Sealant applied by hand using Steve`s "Helping Hands" foam applicator

This was my first use of Poorboy`s EX. I would normally finish up with a layer of P21S/S100 carnauba, but the EX provided such a warm shine that it really didn`t need a topper. The durability test is now underway.

Yep. It was supposedly only loaned to 911 owners. Boxster owners received Camry loaners instead. I`m not sure what they gave to Cayenne owners.

Thats because the Boxster is a COMPLETE disgrace to Porsche. Only the 911 (933 & 996 models expecially) is a true Porsche.

That is a beautiful car, feel free to drive to Oklahoma and let me drive it

It is always interesting to hear an opinion from people who don`t own the car...

    Great looking car awd330

Sorry to come off as stand-offish, I just get rather opinionated on Porsches. There are several people around here that drive the Boxsters, and they do it in a rather "I am better than you" way. Makes me get an ingrained hatred of them. However, there are quite a few of the 911 series around here as well, those drivers are some of the nicest people I know, and they truely respect their car.

Again I apologize if I stepped on anyones toes.

I cant wait for the Turbo Cabrio to come out. The C4S isnt the Fastest of all but the handeling is amazing and the cars feel itself is just amazing.
