    My routine for next weekend

With the help of this forum, I think I have decided on the routine I will use next weekend to get rid of my swirls and bring out the shine.

    Clay
3M Perfect it II (Rotary- foam cutting pad)
3M SWR for Dark Colors (Rotary- foam polishing pad)
3M Machine Glaze (Rotary- foam finishing pad)
    AIOx3 (by hand)
    UPPx3 (by hand)
    S100 if needed

First time using the 3M series, but I`ve heard good things. I think the Perfect It II is pretty abrasive (#05973), my paint is in rough shape. I`m not sure how abrasive SWR for Dark Colors is, maybe comparable to SSR 2?

Also, should I be worried about the AIO bonding over the glaze?

I just finished claying the car today, can`t wait to start the rest. I will spend this week picking up the products I need.

Cant comment on the 3m line because I am not familiar with them but you only need to do the AIO 1 time.

I was under the impression 2 or 3 coats of AIO was better than 1.
Should I worry about applying AIO over a glaze.

I`ve used a lotof 3M products. To start I`d use the SWR first, AIO, glaze, then UPP wait one day for cure on the sealant then paste wax.

I already washed and clayed the car this past weekend. Do you think these 3M products are a good combo to clean up a black car with a lot of swirls?

    The AIO then the glaze?

Yes if you do the glaze before the AIO the AIO will just remove the oils and fillers in the glaze
