    Unhappy Help needed

    Hi,

This is my first experience with detailing, I`ve got the following products

    Porter Cable
    Microfiber towel
    Microfiber cloths

    Swirl Remover 9
    Hi-Tech Yellow Wax 26
    Final Inspection

    Meguiars cutting pad
    Meguiars polishing pad
    Meguiars finishing pad

Which pad should be used with which product ? what`s the best speed to set for each step ?

    Thanks for you help.

    Your mileage may vary .....

Based on your list, you main option is what to do with the #9.

You can use the #9 with all three pads, it alld epends on how much swirl or other surface issues you want to deal with. I may recommend adding DACP to your list. You can use the #9 with any of thos pads, but I would stick with the cutting or polishing pad mostly.

For the 26, the polishing or finishng pads would work well.

Long and short: The #9 and #26 are not aggressive and you could use them safely with any of those pads depending on the result needed. The 26 being a wax would not benefit from the other pads.
