Default is the clay bar safe on chrome wheels?

i just bought some Centerline RPM's in chrome. i will polish them about once a month with Mother's Chrome Polish for up keep.

i was thinking i would clay them about once or twice a year as i suspect contaminates like brake dust will stick to the chrome. i know chrome is about as hard as glass, so i can't think of any reason clay would be unsafe. any thoughts?

here's a pic.

Chrome Polish should remove any brake dust. Since chrome plating is so hard, brake dust won't adhere to it like it would a soft plasticized urethane.

But, you can clay them if you want. I'd suggest you use previously used clay bars and not waste a new/good one.

I know it's not a contribution to the forum, but holy crap, your car is too shiny! You need to take some coarse grit sandpaper to the paint and rims and dull it a little to make it look like it's been driven at least 200 miles

NOTE: I AM JUST KIDDING ABOUT SANDING YOUR BABY!!!
Do not take this seriously!!! I was joking everyone.. Don't go outside with coarse grit sandpaper and screw up the paint!!!
