"Cars: Bang on the hood before starting the car, to startle any animals that may be sleeping under there."

I wonder how many people do this on a regular basis?

NWS shows that we`ll be dropping way below 0*F tonight, and will not see any temperatures above 0*F until Tuesday afternoon. :aww:

Do you have a concrete slab in your garage? I have a small ceramic heater, but it`s pretty much useless in the garage at cold temps. I`m looking at a Modine Hot Dawg heater, but depends if I expand the house or not!!

I would think alot of people don`t. The company driver where I work may start though. We`ve been in the 20`s or less than zero for a couple of weeks now and it seems Friday morning he had a hard time starting the pickup. Popped open the hood and a big ol rat came jumping out.

Poor old guy damn near dropped dead right there on the spot.
