    Folding Microfiber Towels???

today i got some new microfibers from ranney, so i decided to wash them. at nite, when i came back, i found my microfibers in the place where i usually keep them. my mom probably put it there. anyways, she folded it so that the part you use was inside, the part you dont use was outside. i started to fix that, but then i thought, should i leave it like this? heres what i figure...

if i folded my microfiber with the junk side out, it would block out all of the dust and stuff that may potentially get stuck in the microfibers

however, if i folder my microfiber iwth the good side out, it would pick up all the dust and stuff on the outside.

Just a suggestion. Stay away from Ranney for a couple of days!!!
He doesn`t have towels with a junk side. One side is plush, the other is closer to suede.
Plush side for removing waxes, sealants, quick detailers. Suede side for glass cleaning.
I keep mine in a plastic storage box so both sides stay clean.

I think we are gonna have to put you in a microfiber bubble for a little while!!! The plastic storage bin is a good idea for the MF towels.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

I like to use mine a little differently, but I do fold the plush side in as that is the side I use most frequently.

I also don`t allow anyone else to fold them, but sometimes that is unavoidable.

I like to fold them, place them in gallon sized zip lock bags, then put them in sealed plastic bins.

I also fold mine plush side in (where applicable) then store them in sets of clear plastic drawers.

I sort mine and stuff them in plastic bags... takes too long to fold when you do it almost everyday...

yea yea, i store mine in plastic bins too. however, what if theres traces of dust? we have lots of dust in my house . but thats a really good idea with the plastic bag thing. maybe ill try that. and yes, maybe i have been hanging around ranney a bit too much, started to obsessed .

as for folidng, for some reason i love to fold microfibers, i dont know why. its just fun to fold it here eand there.

I fold them plush side in and put them in ziplock bags (about 4-5 16x16 towels to a bag). Keeps the dust out and everything organized.
