Default Gauge cluster scratches

Is it advisable to attempt correction on the gauge cluster plastic cover? If so, which product would do best? I don't have deep scratches, just marring from careless washers.

I wouldn't be asking this question if I never had to take my truck to the carwash, btw.

On soft plastic gauge covers, you can use Mothers Plastic Polish.

I believe some plastic covers like Navi screens have a special coating so I would not do them. You can use painters table to tape off the area to keep from getting polish on areas that you do not want.

To practice your technique, you can take a CD jewel case cover to how well it can work.

Excellent idea on the Plastic Polish and practicing on a CD case.

Remember to use a quality microfiber. The cluster cover is very soft and will scratch easily.
