    EX over EX-P

I am trying to decide weather I want to use EX or EX-P.
I am going to use PP, PwC, EX or EX-P, topped with Natty`s. What I am trying to do is deepen my dark shadow grey a little to add some depth. I know that EX-P is for clear reflections so I am not sure if this will make it to light or not.

Do you think if I put EX-P on it and it was not dark enough that EX over the EX-P would darken it a little bit or should I put the EX on first then put the EX-P over that?

Anyone tried EX-P topped with EX or EX topped with EX-P?

Go with Ex then natty`s - the EX-P gives you the added benefit of carnuba so why add the natty`s?

if you wanted to darken the finish a little i would go with ex and a carnuba topper. the EX-P and Natty`s gives an amazing clear reflective finish, but it didn`t seem to darken the paint much if any on my silver car.

I`m thinking of topping my EX-P on my black envoy. Would EX work well? Or should I get a wax like s100 or natty`s? Anyone use Ex over Exp?

I used EX over EX-P on my bike and it worked well. The color is Candy Glory Red and the combo really brought out the sparkle in the paint. A 13 yr old paint job never looked as good, we were shocked.

I was planning on using a Canranua topper anyway so I figured lets give it a try

Anyone else have an opinion on using Ex over Exp? Or should I use S100 / Natty`s?

    Thanks for any input

It would work. They are basically the same +/- carnuaba. I think the ex would darken the finish and give that deep wet look, basically covering the ex-p. If you like the look you have and just want it to pop some more I would use the npw.

Okay Poorboy, I think you want to sell more products. Maybe I should add Ex to my 2 coats of Exp, then seal that with Exp, and add 2 coats of Natty`s?

I`m going to put some EX on the top of the EXP. Then, I will be done, and I won`t have to buy any wax. :cool

On the wifes grey Exploder, I have PwC on it now, and I will also add a coat of EX on top of that, and I`ll be done.

    Thanks for the info!

from what I`ve seen and been told ...the EX-P will do better over the EX, than trying to get EX to bond over the EX-P ....curing time between coats also seems to be a factor...waiting at least 24-36 hours seems to be the trick...EXperiment and let us know
