Smile Four Star Ult Auto Wash & P21S

I`m running low on P21S Shampoo and although I love it I thought I`d check and see how the 4* compares. I do like to top with carnauba, for the 1/2 the price this might be a good move.

The P21S comes in a small container, with two cars it goes pretty quickly...

    Comments, suggestions?:cool :cool

I actually like the 4* wash a bit better than the P21S shampoo.

However, I like Sonax Gloss shampoo even better than both of the above.................... don`t know if it can be purchased anymore though?

If you want a fine shampoo at a very nice price (around $23 a gallon), you may want to consider Meguiar`s #62. If I can`t get the Sonax anymore, I may go back to #62.

I use Sonax also. For 10 dollars( on sale) a gallon at Target, Meguiar`s is hard to beat.

Is that the #62 at Target, or another Meguiar`s wash?

    Anyone like the Eagle One?

#62? Is that the wash and wax one?

I don`t think Sonax is available anymore, I`ve tried Sonus, it is supposed to be similar but I never got to try sonax so I can`t compare. Sonus leaves a nice gloss afterwards and is very concentrated. One ounce to 3 gallons.

Pinnacle is my current favorite, but it is prohibitively expensive. For an everyday wash, Ive been using gold class. Its cheap and works pretty well. It has good lubricity and good suds, too bad it doesn`t smell good though...

It`s Meguiar`s Gold Class. I have a little less than half a bottle of Sonax left. I have some others I`m going to try. I`ve been wondering how good the Sonus was. Eggroll can you give a more detailed opinion(critique/review) of Sonus.

No, the #62 is a pure car wash shampoo from their professional line (and still the best shampoo that Meguiar`s makes as far as I`m concerned)

I love the 4* Ultimate Shampoo.
While it looks a little pricey ... you only have to use very little actually 1/3 of what you might use of other washes.
It creates a lot of long lasting suds (if that is important to you)
It remains wet on the vehicle for a long time (easier to rinse without spotting)
It has great lubricaty (less scratching)
It rinses completely (no streaks or white spots later)
    It smells great (addictive actually)
I have used Eagle One and was not impressed ... It definitely lacks many of the qualities of 4*.

Hi all, who use(d) Sonax shampoos,

Sonax IS STILL AVAILABLE in the US, rebranded as NTS7 though. (www.nts7.com)

I think there are 2 or 3 shampoos. I`m using a lot of Sonax stuff here in EU. Sehr sehr gut.

I got my Xtreme1 Liquid Wax Full Protect (NTS7 Liquid Shield) today and itching to try it. It`s a kind of Maybach-wax, developed for royally expensive nanofinishes. Thick, creamy fluid, with orange scent. Hmmm. I`ll post some pics when I do something with it! LOL

yea, i bought a gallon of four star from ranney last weekend. i have to say, you use very little, about 2 oz per bucket, and its PURPLE, and smells great . it seems to have worked for me very nicely. i think the price is very reasonable for a gallon, and maybe you should look into it

    Bence,

danke sehr............................. Do you know which of the NTS7 shampoo`s is a direct replacement for the Sonax Gloss shampoo? They had 2 or 3 shampoo`s available under the Sonax line, with the Gloss shampoo being the best!

Boss I was told that you can still buy Sonax Gloss Shampoo at Mini-Cooper dealers. The label, suposidly has just been changed but they say if you look at the manufacture and address its the same as the one on the Sonax Gloss Shampoo. Unfortunatly we dont have a mini-cooper dealer anywhere near me to check this out at.

    Boss_429!

Bitte sehr! After a bit of surfin, here are the results: Gloss Shampoo, aka Glanz Shampoo Konzentrat transformed to NTS7 Super Carwash Shampoo Concentrate, and the newer Xtreme Active Shampoo 2in1 is now NTS7 Concentrated Auto Shampoo 2in1.
