    Leather coating water?

How do you tell if your leather has a clear coat on it, im doing a late model JAG and a late model lexus, i want to use the right cleaner and conditioner? is there like a water beading test?

which do you suggest for a nice clean new look for leather?

Coated leather is like vinyl it doenst bear its just coated with something like vinyl you can often tell when it in the worn areas it turns very smooth and looks like shiney.

Any Leather Cleaner and Conditioner should work dont use saddle soap or anything like that. I love Meguiars Detailer Line Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.

you should test it in an area unseen....those vehicles should have a coated seat , and then a water-based product should be used...if it soaks in..the a water-base product can work here too, but you will see the hide get deeper in color and not change back even after buffing...
life is short ..do it while you can

They dont make it anymore there is still some left at CMA very little though. Its best to let coated leather soak get all the dirt out and then condition. Similar to real leahter just takes more pop to get it looking better.
