    My Wolfgang Review

    Hello all,

I was able to detail a 1999 Eddie Bauer Expedition that has never been polished. Fantastic weather, sunny and 72*

    First impressions:

The box is very nice, and makes it stand out from the rest. The bottles were heavy duty, and the caps were very tight. The dispensers were good, but could have been smaller to dispense a bit less. Lables were very classy. I wasn`t blown away by the smells, however, I believe this would be a great addition to such a high end product.

    The Soap:

I wasn`t blown away by it, but then again, there isn`t a large difference between car washes. It`s very hard to distinguish products in this category. Seemed to have good lubrication and suds. Nice color, but could have had a fancy smell. Rinsed well off the car, even in the sunlight. However, good luck selling it at $60 a gallon----definitely not worth it! I don`t think there is a shampoo that is worth that much.

    The Polish:

I would categorize this as a "final polish" in my opinion. This was my favorite of the bunch; it really gave a nice sheen to the car, as it was pretty dingy. The product worked in well with the PC at 5-5.5 on a Meg`s yellow polishing pad. My only discrepency on the product is that it really needs to dry before buffing off. When using the provided "forest green" microfiber, most of it wiped off very easily, however, I found myself having to go back and picking up the wet "dots" left behind. Next time, I will move on to something else and let it dry fully. Their claim on metallics is absolutely correct (see pic). There was a huge difference!! The car still had some swirls in it, but this product removed a hoard of them with only 1 application. Like I said, I would use this product in the future as a final polish. hummmmm....says not to use in the sun. One side of the car was in the sun the whole time and I had no problems.

    MF towel:

Again, not blown away by it. It was on the smaller end, but I liked that size to work with. Soft and plush, but no different than the hoard of others I have either. We will have to see how it washes up.

    Applicators:

The yellow one is the exact same as the ones Meg`s offers, but without any writing on it. Worked the same for me also.

The MF applicator was nice. This was my first time using a MF applicator, and I loved it when applying the sealant. Could be a tad bigger for better handling. Nice thin applications were easy with this pad

    The Sealant:

Not bad at all. Could have a better smell. Used the provided MF applicator. Spread thin for the most part. When it came to buffing it off, some of the "heavy" spots were a bit hard to remove. However, that`s when the detail spray got busted out, and it obliterated any build up with extreme ease. I then finished the entire buffing process with the detail spray, and acheived great results. The durability claims 5 months+, but we`ll see. For the most part, it was easy to buff off with minimal dusting (but not as easy as Butter Wax or EX).

    Detail Spritz:

I used it as a means to remove the excess sealant, and it worked great. I did not see any streaking, and the sprayer was of the finer type which I prefer. I would like to play around with this product a bit more, but thus far, I enjoy it.

Overall, I`d have to say that these products are of higher quality. I would be inclined to try out their other products, especially their clay. One suggestion would be to add an intermediate polish to the line, as 1 polish can not do it all. $60 for a gallon of soap in ludicris! The products are very easy to work with and provide a great shine that would easily be accepted on the professional level.

    Thanks for the opportunity!!
