    Photo Album

I`ve started a photo album for the cars that I have cleaned. On the real bad ones I try for before and after pics. I use this when I see potential customers. Its really helped to win biz as most can see that I have worked on all levels of cars.

Anyone else doing this as a marketing idea.

Thanks I need to get some products from you. I would like to get some tire cleaner I did a 76 450Sl MB yesterday and the tires where a nightmare to get clean.
Also what high end product do you have for leather. I`m using Lexol but would like to see higher end stuff as well.

Here is a pic the others did not come out that well so I`m going to get more, iuts my next door neighbors car.

That looks good for a 27 year old Mercedes....isn`t living in CA great...old cars never seem to age....

I remember an old woman who came in to the body shop in Culver city with a 56 T-bird (black)
totally oxidized..she was the original owner and had a dent ...
she asked us if we could repair it with out making it shiny

I told her that there was no way we could match a 30year old car(at that time) with oxidation, but we could wet sand it, polish it and make it look all new again...she said she`d live with the dent...go figure....I gave her my card and told her to call me if she changed her mind.... needless to say I never saw the car again....

The older leather`s like the ones in that Mercedes really need the oils to revive them, the newer leathers which are coated really need only water-based products to keep them new...

I take it that you have a good tire/wheel brush ...then tires and wheels should come right back with good products....

I keep seperate photo albums on the autos, boats, motorcycles, and planes that I do. That way I can show a customer pictures of similar items that I am doing for them. I also use the photos to get the customers back in for services.
I treat them all like they are my very own.
