    Step #for Clay

    Hey all,
I recently went wild and purhcased a PC, Meguiars pads, and some Poorboys products (polish w. carnuba, EX w. Car, Nattys, and SS1). My question is what step should I clay.
I was thinking the first step but im not sure. Also, Im not positive on what pad to use for each product.

    1. Clay
    2.SS1 (cutting pad)
    3.PwC (polish pad)
    4. EX
    5. Natty`s (finish pad)

Not sure what pad to use with the EX.

    Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Wild is the way to go! I just did my first detail and follwed the same steps you listed. Included a wash before and after the clay due to residue left behind. Doing the EX and Natty`s this weekend. Was mentioned to me to put EX on by hand or PC with a finish pad. Would think you could use a polish pad as well. Nothing abrasive in the product or pad to damage the paint so try it one way, then the other next time.

Your car`s gonna look great afterwards. Go for it!

Also wash after polish due to dusty residue. Lots of washing involved. Or you could just rinse.

    Your steps look good.

if it was ME doing the work, I would apply EX with a finishing pad and apply Natty`s by hand. Thats just my opinion though. A finishing pad will work well for both of them.
