Default How much of the car can you do with 1 clay?

Obviously as you run it over a surface that area will 'grit up', but do you then just squish the clay bar back together to form a new surface? Wouldn't that eventually lead to contaminants being on the clean side?

One clay bar will do 3 average sized vehicles with average contaminants. So a heavily contaminated Hummer may require 1 bar, but 6 Smart Cars with light contamination would be possible.

At the end of each body panel we recommend kneading the clay bar to distribute the contaminants. Eventually that gold colored bar will turn tan and won’t be sticky. That would be a good time to replace it.
