Two part question:

Is Stoners Invisible Glass ok for tinted windows?
Are microfiber towels ok on tinted windows?
I assume the answer to both is no, but I would like to know anyway.

I`ve used Stoners IG, and SprayWay glass cleaner on my tinted windows for a long time.............. no problems. Neither of those products contain ammonia (they contain alcohol)........................ you don`t want to use a product that contains ammonia on tinted windows!
Good MF towels won`t hurt your tinted windows at all.......... as a matter of fact, they are recommended for window cleaning!
I used to use that combo. Now I use a slightly damp MF, then buff with a dry one.
I use this combo also on my tint and customer`s tint and have yet to have a problem.
Like Boss_429 pointed out, it`s ammonia you need to watch out for.
Do you guys spray IG on the glass or on MF first ? I find that if I spray it on the glass, some of it will end up on the door when it`s windy, since it has alcohol then I presume that`s bad news for wax or sealant? (do correct me if I`m wrong):dunno
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.
I spray it on the cloth, buff the window, and wipe with another MF. However, I doubt that there is enough alcohol in it to remove much wax, I just don`t like the mess of spraying directly on the window. But you are correct............. if it had a much higher concentration of alcohol, it would remove wax.
As Boss said before cleaning any tinted windows make sure your window cleaner does not contain ammonia!!
"A Clean Ride is a Happy Ride" To some its just a Ride!!!! So True!!!!!
I spray it on the MF towel first, then wipe the window down. I put dressing on before I clean windows and the drops of window cleaner that hit the dash, etc. mess up the nice finish.
