you may want to first cover it in kittylitter and rub in then vac out, then what ever apc that you usually use should work i would spray some apc on it first though then use your machine to extract it. worked on a suburban with the same problem for me (guy bought a used mower and put it in on its side). I used simple green.

Another often overlooked option is to use "waterless hand cleaner" (Gojo etc.). Make sure it`s the plain stuff, not with pumice. It should emulsify the oil enough to blot it out, then you can "launder as usual."

That Lil Green Machine will be hard at work. I would try a degreaser also with the above.

Hopefully there rubber backed matts, if not, the oil most likely soaked thru to the carpet pad.....Id go with APC, and extract with the shop vac or extractor....
You could always APC and srcub, then hit with the hi-pressure nozzle and hoze.......
When it`s you car, every detail matters...........

A strong degreaser might be the trick, I think that will be the plan of attack.

Thanks all will keep you posted

Why are you transporting your chain-saw in the customers car... shame on you!!

    Kidding of course

I`d try to blot-up any excess before trying any cleaners. I`d also explain to the customer that it might not all come out. Then I`d try to use as little water as possible, but use the foamy froth of the shampoo bucket with a scrub brush in the affected area. Then wipe with towels. Repeating until the towels come clean... then on with the extraction.

Gim-me a car with finns... :naughty and I`ll shows ya what detailin`s all about... :jump
