    Need some advice

I about a week I`ll be detailing an 88` Porsche that is red in color. My question is......what would yield the best results on the finish? I`m guessing that it`s single stage paint. The car is in great shape, as a matter of fact it`ll be in a "all Porsche" car show next Saturday. The owner want`s this car flawless and then he`ll haul it in an enclosed trailer for the 100 mile trip to the show.

As for tools I own a "Cyclo polisher" with yellow, green and white pads. I use mainly Meguiars products and that is all that I have on hand. What would make the red paint really dance in the sun? I want to make the owner proud!

I love singloe stage paint, but can`t help with the Megs products as I don`t use them much.

Having said that I would start with a light cut compound with a cutting pad then, so to a polish with a polishing pad, then glaze the car for a real wet look and finish up with a paste wax. Single stage really has no depth to it but this combo will bring the red back to life!
Here is the before and after of a trooper that I did that was red single stage paint

    vdubbya,
I`m with Beemerboy. Polish, top with glaze, and then wax. This combo works great on darker colors. Should make your porche pop.

Sounds great! I`ll try that. I have a few other Right Look products around so I`ll figure something out. This car is really a show car so it`s already in great shape. Thank`s for that advice.
