Great work as usual Anthony. These tips will help out greatly since I want to show my truck this show season and since I don`t have alot of chrome this will help out alot.

Ron,
Time it takes is about an hour. If you include the paint work in the engine sils and other areas about another 20 minutes.
If there is chrome and/or aluminum then it can add about another hour.
I charge usually an extra $35 to $50 for engine detailing.
madtremor,
Thanks for the compliments

Anthony Have you ever used Meguiars Engine Kote. I have a gallon of the stuff I got from Dwayen I tried it in the wheel wells and didnt get the new look I exepected I was wondering if anyone uses it and has any special tips for it.

Frozen,
I have never used Engine Kote so I can`t really comment on how to use it or why it does not work well for you.
I try my best to get the wheel wells as clean as possible in the wash stage. Many times they come out so clean that I don`t have to apply any dressing to them at all.
My dressing of choice for wheel wells is AutoMagics Super Dress It. It is a bit pricey but works well. I am also getting some dressing to try out from Irene, which is water-based, and if it works well I`ll make sure I pass it on.

Anthony Orosco,
I thought of this thread today as a detailed the engine of a 2001 CLK 430 Cabriolet. I used old reliable Simple Green and dressed with AM`s Dress-It, however as a final touch-up I used Stoners Trim Shine where needed.
