Question IP solution and CMX

Will an IP/panel prep solution remove CMX? Or is it a recommended way to be sure surface is clean in between layering the product over time?

Default Re: IP solution and CMX

IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) will not remove CMX, but you could use a 25%-40% solution to remove any unwanted waxes or oils from the surface if you wish. Depending on just what is needed, you could also use a polish like our Pure Polish and/or clay if you have surface contaminants. It really just depends on how dirty it is and the condition -- if the condition of the finish is excellent, you might just wash it thoroughly and apply a fresh coat.
