    Welcome,

You will find some info about shops here, but most of the focus is on the detailing process. IMO there are two sides to running a business, the business side and the technical side, to be successful it is important to balance the two. If you are an awesome detailer but have no idea how to run your business, it might be difficult to make money and vice versa. There are a few books available on how to run a detailing business, I saw one that looked interesting in Fortune Small Business Magazine. I strongly advise anyone going in to business to put together a business plan, do research on your competition and what type of market share you can expect and ultimately what are the numbers you will need to have to break even and what type of numbers are you looking for to make the kind of money you are looking to make.

    Howdy wcdetailer, welcome to D.C.

Thomas had some great advice there. Hopefully some of other full time pros will chime in a give you some more pointers. Tacscar Tim, Clean Dean, JGV (although he`s probably up to his ears in diapers right about now LOL) and a few others have shops.
