    Angry GRRR- Water spots.

Second time this happens to me in two weeks.

Today I went to some store and I parked my impeccable bright car close to grass. It was middle afternoon, I didn`t even thought those guys were so stupid to start the watering (?) at 4PM, on a hot sunny day. But they did, and the left front side of my car was hit by that water, and it dried out leaving spots.

Two hours latter, when I got home, I cleaned that area with S&W, twice, it removed the light dust and the most visible part of the spots, but under fluorescent light, the spots in the paint are still visible. I tried two QDs with no success. I even applied a coat os EX but nothing, the spots are there .

This had happen to me a couple of weeks ago during a short vacation I had. It made me buff all car, protect, wax, feeew!

Will I have to fine polish that area again? And protect, and wax, and layer...

Hey, sue them !! I hate things like that, next to drivers who seem to always drive on the gravel side of the highway spraying dirt/stones onto my clean car!!

I`ll not sue them but I`m going to write a complain to their administration! I`m going to say their watering timings are ridiculous, what they did to my car, and that they made me never come back again to that store.

What about people who use their wiper mist at 70mph on the freeway? Or spit out of the window while you are behind them? People in general just have no idea!!!

I think the vinegar will work, I have tried it with good results in the past.

sprinklers are your worst nightmare...they are usually metal piping with rust and mineral build up when not in use.
I had a car in Los Angeles some years ago and parked it on the street...100+ degrees and I come out the next afternoon and I had water spots that ate through the finish completely. I had a body shop and we ended up wet sanding well into the finish to get them all out...fuming would be an understatement...custom paint basically ruined...learned a rough lesson that day....
I would start all over again in those areas and stay away from sprinklers

Jose, Stay off the Grass. Don`t you guys all carry S&W with you now, I got blasted by the sprinklers the other day, while still a little wet, it came right off.
