Question My car back from body shop

I got my BMW jet black back from body shop after replace the bumper, fender and repaint the hood. The car has swirls, hologram and buffer tails. What pro products you recommend and what pads as well. I have been told I need to wait around 3 months to allow the paint to cure prior any polishing. Pleas advice, thanks

Did they say wait 3 months before polishing, or waxing?

Some low angle pics to show the buffer tails and swirls would be helpful so we can see how severe it is.

Just a suggestion, perhaps the body shop should fix these?

If you are proficient with the rotary, a cutting pad and 08612 compound would be a good choice, followed by the DA with a polishing pad and 08712 finishing polish.

Is 08612&08712 are non diminishing abrasive (SMAT) or they are diminishing abrasive.

08612 and 08712 use abrasives that provide an initial cut to remove swirls and other defects and finish with a polishing effect. This translates to a better finish compared to other compounds and polishes on the market.
