Default 3 Step System on Motorbike?

Searched but didn't find an answer to this question. Is there any reason not to use the 3 Step System on the paintwork of motorbikes? The bikes in question are a Kawasaki Concours and Triumph Sprint ST so there's a lot of painted plastic on them (full fairings) as well as the metal gas tanks.

I guess my concern is Step 1 being too harsh for the painted plastic?

There's no reason they can't be used, but honestly I've not met many who do use a multi-step program on motorcycles.

Thanks Forrest. I'm about to winterize them, and would prefer to have them in the best shape possible before the covers go on.

Sorry, forgot to answer completely.

Step 1 Pure Polish is not an aggressive polish on the level of our Finishing Polish. It's totally safe for the painted plastics. I would, though, be careful around all the decals. Application and removal of any product can lift the edges of the vinyl.

Should anyone search for this in future, it's not only safe on a bike (with the caveat of being careful around decals), it produces stunning results. Wish I hadn't run out of daylight to snap a couple of pics, but the wow factor was off the charts.

Also I think I may be addicted to the smell of Mothers Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax being applied with a random orbital.

I clay bar, then three step my Harleys twice a year... One bike is 15 years with 80,000 miles, and I will get stopped in parking lots and asked if it's brand new
