Today isn't too soon to start caring for a new car. The finishes are baked before installing anything in/on a new vehicle at assembly, so by the time it leaves the factory, it's ready for protection.

Keep in mind most new vehicles are transported via rail, which mean there is likely rail dust/ferrous particle contamination on the paint.

Start with a good quality car wash. Follow with a clay bar to remove any contaminants from the paint.

Beyond that, decide how much time and effort you want to put into your new car's finish. If you can only spend an hour or so, 3-4 times a year, go with a quality one step product like our Original Formula Cleaner Wax (paste or liquid) or Reflections Premium Polish (it's a synthetic wax).

If you're willing to do whatever it takes for the ultimate finish, go with our multi-phase Ultimate Wax System: Pre-Wax Cleaner (only twice a year), Sealer and Glaze (every other time you wax, applied before the wax), and then Natural Formula Wax (no cleaners, used as often as you like; in either paste or liquid).

Maintain the finish by washing weekly with a quality car wash, and with an instant detailer like our Showtime Instant Detailer.

Hope this helps.
