Has anyone had a chance to try these pads? Any thoughts about the new design? I was just browsing for products and thought these were different.

They are pretty new pads, I think they would help a beginner alot. No review yet. About time pads get an upgrade!

It looks to me like the standard pad material with a new softer back to soften deflection of the kachine. I`ve never had a problem with my PC and pad angles, so I don`t see how helpful these pads would be. I think the standard ones would be just as good and most likely cheaper.
The design is also the same with the variable contact feature. I think they just re-worked their descriptions. The red is a new color and softer foam. LC sells a blue pad for fine finishing that may be the same.

This would seem better off with pads made for a rotory, where keeping a pad 100% flat is a lot more important than a PC.
