I`ve had good luck starting it with my fingernail then slidding some dental floss under it (some people use fishing line). Then I usually grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers (CAREFULLY!!!), it gives me more leverage to slowly pull the decal off. I found some rubber caps that fit on the end of my pliers that give me some added protection. I can usually get more off without the decal tearing this way. Then I either use 3M adhesive remover or goo-gone to get the rest of the gunk off. Finish it off with clay, cleaner, polish and wax. You also might want to take off your watch and any other jewlery so it doesn`t scratch the paint. It also seems like they come off easier if the car has been sitting in the sun for awhile.

I have used a hair dryer/ heat gun ... to help as well ..it helps loosen up the glue (just like the sun would) just be carefull not to hold it on too long ... you can burn it

3M pinstripe wheel, its an attatchment for a power drill, takes off pinstripe/decals super fast glue and all and NO damage whatsoever to the paint. The best 20 investment i ever bought. I`ve made so much money with that little wheel. I swear by it.
