    Mirror Polished Guitar (Detailed Pics)

(I Dont know if this goes in the Offtopic or not because it is still about detailing , and i used auto care products but here goes.)

Hey you guys , check this out. a last week i got the idea to use car products to restore the
finish on my fender stratocaster. The back was the worst cuz of the scratches from my belt buckles
the front was really bad from pick scratches on pickguard and wear and tear on the paint from 5 years of use.

I ended up putting 5 coats of sealant and 3 coats of gold class liquid wax
take a look at the reflection in the back of the guitar , its incredible.

thats a photo though the finish of the guitar

First coat of Sealant,Half unbuffed for comparison

    Second Coat Sealant

    Fifth Coat of Sealant

Finished with 5coats of sealant and 3coats of GoldClass

    Please comment . Thanks

    Looks great,
Just imagine what your car would look like if you put that many coats on it!
I`ve been busy but I`ll try to make some time.

    New business oportunity

    Hey Juan,

I too was amazed by the use of car care products on my guitar (check my post on AIO for guitar). Worked better than any guitar polish I ever tried. I say we buy some car care products in 1 gallon sizes and repackage in 1 oz bottles for guitar. Sell em on ebay for $3.99 each! Satisfaction guaranteed.

I found your thread while doing a search. Wanted to say your guitar looks really good. By the way Meguiars makes a line of guitar products for Fender.

Menzerna is well known in the woodworking industry.

Seeing that Menzerna works with OEM, so no fillers and strick QC, they produce some of the worlds finest polishes for Automotive, woodworking, jewelry etc. Try that prior to a sealant! Works for my finishes!!

That`s why I buy Menzerna by the case! I normally use FP and MP and IP when needed. Not your normal polish, as it take a bit of learning. Since they use it on assembly production lines, quick is the key.
