I`m being a little facious. I actually replaced the window. That`s what you see here.

I did try to save the window. I used renovo and plexus but I wasn`t happy with the results. As I started cleaning off the crude, it be came apparent there were what looked like scratches INSIDE the plastic. I figured it was soon to be a goner so I replaced it.

So you don`t have to replace the top. I like to use Ragg Topp on that type of material. You won`t beleive that results it can give you. I`d look for it on line or maybe its here on this site

    dalmore,
That was that extremely clever ... You Got me!
I was hoping you had found something to get out the deeper scratches.

With the exception of the heavy scratches Novus would have been a good choice, to clean up a window that bed. I`ve seen some real great results

No need to replace the top on the z3 - you can replace just the plastic window. It`s not a difficult job but it`s tedious starting that little zipper just when you get one end on the other comes off and so on - make sure you drink decaf that morning! Otherwise it`s easy.

Renovo didn`t do much on that old window that Plexus did not do. Since I have it, I will try it again as the need arises. If I had to buy more right now, I`d try something else. Probably Novus based on what I`ve read.
