What to use on Interior Plastic?

Alot of newer vehicles have the vinly dash but then door and front of dash are plastic. What is recomended for the plastic areas. Is #40 vinly/rubber ok or do y`all use something else.
Also, what abou the rubber trim around the windows and seals inside door.

    Thanks,

    Brian

I personally would not use #40 (or any other vinyl/rubber product) for interior plastic due to potential smearing and streaking. I normally just use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water for these tasks.

On the other hand, the rubber trim around windows and seals would be a good place to use #40.

    I guess #40 is ok.

    What I use is:

1Z Vinyl-Rubber Care and Protectant - for vinyl / plastic, interior / exterior

1Z Rubber Protection (Gummi Pflege) - for rubber seals.

I also use Pinnacles vinyl for interiors cause of the smell, and Poorboys Trim Restorer on trim.

Others also use PB Natural Look, but I don`t have it.

Most tho, use 303. I have it but it`s not better than others I mentioned here.

Are we talking about smooth plastic (like fake woodgrain and aluminum), or textured hard plastic (as often found on molded door map pockets)?

For smooth plastic, I don`t like to apply dressings. However, I do like using UV protectants on textured plastic. 303 Aerospace and Poorboy`s Natural Look are my favorites for that application.

I use Poorboy`s Natural Look and love it. I would not trade it for anything.

I use Poorboys Natural Look and wouldn`t change! It`s the best I`ve tried and I`ve tried many.

For the items in the 3 photos, my choice would be Trim Restorer for the exterior mirror housing and Natural Look for the interior pieces.

Einszett(Also refered to as 1Z)1Z is all I use on my dash. If you want a real matte finish, use the Einszett Cockpit Premium

    1Z

Go with the 1Z Cockpit Premium... Use it to clean ALL of my vinyl/plastic. Has a very clean smell to it.

I follow with 303, then wipe it to creat a matt finish.

    Nice stuff that 1Z!
