Default Re: New Product for 2012: California Gold® Synthetic Wax

California Gold Synthetic Wax's cleaners will remove any wax underneath it. You can use one or the other. If for example you applied the Synthetic, you can just wait until that wax has worn off before applying the Carnauba cleaner wax. Getting Pure Carnauba Wax can help increase the durability of the wax underneath... Not by a long way though, but it can help.

Oopps!! Im kinda confuses.. California gold synthetic wax as i understood was no cleaning agent or polshers on it. I thought it was a paint sealant thats why i applied it first and plannned to top up with carnuba waxes! My idea of asking was california gold cleaner wax is ok to use often without erasing my synthetic wax that i thought was a sealant! Or pure carnuva wax is best bet when waxing more often..
So do you mean synthetic wax is not a paint sealant or a polymer?

It's a polymer paint sealant with cleaners in it.

If you plan to put something on top of CG Synthetic Wax, use the pure carnauba wax and instead of using reapplying wax, I suggest regular use of spray wax to save time and effort, but if you really plan to wax (I admit, it's hard not to wax my car), just reapply the pure carnauba.
