Default polish and wax routines...

I'm looking for some guidance on what routines you follow for the start, middle and end of season wax routines.

In the Spring I often wash, polish then use a pure wax on my boat... (if needed a rubbing compound before a polish if heavy oxidation exist)

but let's assume my hull is in good condition...

Mid season do you wash and re-apply a pure wax? or maybe a cleaner wax product? (or do you re-polish and repeat the Spring season maintenance)

End of season - another coat of pure wax to protect for the Winter?

My hull is in great condition and I want to maintain this... thanks

Welcome to waxforum!

I would do all my hard work in Spring (compound if necessary, polish and wax)

Each time you pull the boat out of the water, rinse it down and use a spray wax.

Midseason I'd go with a cleaner wax.

End of season another coat of cleaner wax until Spring time, and start all over again.

The regime that Forrest describes is exactly how we maintained my Father-In-Law's boat.

It was a 1976 and still looked amazing when he sold it in 2013.
