Default Clean/Restore Door Visor

Hi! I have bought Mothers Plastic Polish to clean my headlights. Can I use this product to clean/restore door visors and window trims too?

Welcome to Wax Forum!

Absolutely -- Plastic Polish is great for most any glossy, smooth plastic, whether it's a headlight lens, taillight lens, or a visor or anything similar.

Not all door trim is plastic -- some is vinyl wrap to look like plastic, and we wouldn't recommend that.

Post a photo if you are in question as to what to use.

This is the window trim that I need to clean. It has watermarks and it's becoming gray color. What can you recommend?

You'll want to open the doors and look on the back side... is it a layer of vinyl? Paint? Likely.

It could also be a separate plastic piece, but that is less likely.

Take a closer look.

If there is a section on the inside to test Plastic Polish, give it a try.

But if it is vinyl, try Back-to-Black Trim Restorer, as Plastic Polish may scratch it or give an undesirable result.

Post a larger photo if you can... get close up and in focus.
