    applying SMR, polish and sealant

I have a PC and im curious how I should apply the swirl remover, polish and sealant. Im thinking of using the PC for the swirl remover and polish and then applying the sealant by hand. Also when using the PC, should I apply the products directly to the pad? Also after I apply the EX, should I just use a MF towel to remove it for the final buff?

Your intuitions are correct in my opinion. I apply directly to the pad but before I fire it up, however, I do rub the pad on the surface of the area and then turn it on to avoid splatter. The sealant should go on easily by hand and come off nice with the MF.

What are good pads for the different products? And do you guys prefer foam or wool?

I would say you could use any high quality foam polishing pad for the swirl remover and the polish. It has been my experience that most of the products that I use go on best with a polishing pad. I do however use a finishing pad when applying my topper, be it sealant or otherwise. I only have experience with meguiar`s foam pads. Hope this helps.
