Plain ole` rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol 70%). For small spots use a Q-Tip for larger use cotton ball. DAB ALCOHOL. If rub you will create an unbelieveable amount of work for yourself! Let it soak for a minute, wait too long and the alcohol will simply evaporate away. Then BLOT with clean cotton ball or towel. Repeat till gone. Patience is the key here, but the results are worth it. If it will not work with repeated applications, then try a stronger solvent such as acetone (fingernail polish remover) or ethyl acetate (Non-Acetone fingernail polish remover).

DO NOT USE MINERAL SPIRITS and always test in an inconspicuous place first for color fastness.

Email me if you need more help with it and good luck!

Oh, and yes hairspray is mostly alcohol..

Is there a dilution ratio scale on the bottle or somewhere or does anyone have one and wants to share it.
