Very rare for such a man to exist, it is truely saddening that he lost his life. He is a real hero.

Being retired military, everyone that serves is constantly on my mind. I was stunned when my wife called me at work today with the news, as were others whom I told. God bless all of the families of our military, keep them close in your prayers, and remember, true heroes do not have numbers on their backs. True heroes are the ones who sacrifice to allow the athletes to play their games and entertainers to make their movies.

For those of you on active service now, THANK YOU!

It`s incredibly sad that he`s gone, and the same goes for all the rest who have made that sacrafice.

Just FYI there are alot of active duty military guys and gals coming home on leaves and trying to get around the country on very limited funds. The Airline industry in conjunction with the U.S. Marines here have been accepting frequent flyer miles from any citizen who wishes to donate accumulated miles and let them be used by Military Personel. The response has been huge, and I`m sure it`s possible to do this Nationwide. If you have some extra miles to giveup it`s a worthy cause.
